Job Title: Director of Sales
Location:NashvilleAs the Director of Sales, you will provide
strategic leadership and oversight of sales operations across
multiple divisions. Your primary objective is to drive revenue
growth by effectively positioning the company as an industry leader
and optimizing sales performance. You will be responsible for
building, mentoring, and empowering a team of Regional Sales
Representatives to maximize sales within their respective
territories.Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company as an industry leader, driving sales and
profitability.
- Provide direct leadership and management of Regional Sales
Representatives to ensure the execution of effective sales
strategies.
- Maximize market share and sales performance in alignment with
established policies and programs.
- Develop and implement market strategies, fostering new business
development and dealer relationships.
- Establish clear performance targets for the sales team,
offering guidance and direction to achieve business
objectives.
- Serve as a representative and host at dealer meetings, industry
conferences, and related events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and customer needs
through ongoing training and professional development.
- Address customer relations matters, working closely with
dealers and end users to resolve concerns.
- Uphold and enhance high standards of customer service
excellence.
- Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.
- Analyze market trends, identifying business opportunities and
potential risks.
- Accompany Regional Sales Representatives on travel assignments
to support divisional sales goals.
- Perform additional duties as required by
leadership.Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of progressive senior sales leadership experience
with a demonstrated track record of success.
- HVAC industry expertise at the wholesale distribution level is
preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience managing residential and commercial
contractor relationships.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing
sales teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales
and market data to drive informed decision-making.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while
managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related
field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned
division.
- Proficiency in English for compliance with safety standards,
training, and operational procedures.
