POSITION SUMMARYManagers and coordinates team activities that relate to increasing and maintaining the revenue base. Oversees day-to-day activities, Licensing Representatives, and Senior Licensing Representatives to ensure productivity levels are maintained and exceeded.LOCATIONNashville, TN office. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority.FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Oversees day-to-day team activities Licensing Representatives, and Senior Licensing Representatives.
  • Oversees staff telephonic presentations and monitor communications, product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Intervenes and handles difficult calls on an as needed basis.
  • Conducts performance reviews to evaluate productivity and improve workflow.
  • Monitors and analyzes inquiry and complaint trends, market trends; recommend responses.
  • Develops and coordinates team meetings and training activities.
  • Schedules and manages staff and work flow.
  • Ensures productivity levels are maintained or exceeded.
  • Recognizes outstanding performance and recommends opportunities for growth.
  • Assists with administering career development plans.
  • Coaches and develops Licensing Representatives, and Senior Licensing Representatives through coaching and 1:1's.
  • Collaborates, provides feedback and supports department processes, culture and areas of opportunity; (i.e system feedback, processes change recommendations, participation in activities and meetings etc.)
  • Provides feedback and information to training in order to develop and refine scripts and training.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring reliability of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.Experience: Minimum three years' sales management experience preferred. Sales, negotiation and/or collections experience required.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Management/coaching abilities
    • Good communication skills, both written and oral
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of licensing products and licensing process
    • Good time management and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of BMI General Licensing
    • Selling, negotiating and collection skills
    • Sales management experience requiredSALARY RANGEThe specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
