Job Description:

everyone.. We are seeking a new Full-time X-Ray Technologist for
our Centennial Clinic to join our team. Your role will be to assist
physicians and other staff members with care of patients in
producing high quality radiographs as a valued member of the X-ray
team in a people-centered organization with compassion at the
center of our culture. As a member of the X-ray department, you
will work with an outstanding team of X-ray professionals and
premier orthopedics physicians, nurse practitioners and physician
assistants and report to our X-ray Team Lead. What You Will Do:
Carries out radiology requisitions and views. Uses radiographic
technique, PACS, and assists other staff members as needed.
Operates all portables and C-Arm equipment. Memorizes what views
each physician requires on exams. Assists patients in getting into
the positions required to get the radiographs needed with the
occasional need to lift the patient. Takes x-rays following
established procedures for patient care and safety. Stocks
necessary supplies. Uses a variety of radiation protection and
shielding materials. Assists with and provides direct training and
supervision to student technologists. Ensures equipment is in
working order. Reports any malfunction to supervisor in a timely
manner. Imports and uploads outside CDs for clinic. Utilize
effective written and verbal communication interacting with
co-workers, other clinic employees, supervisors, and outside
vendors. Promote Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics role in the community
by greeting and interacting with all patients, families, visitors,
vendors, and guests in a courteous and respectful manner. Provide
support or relief for other staff as needed. Demonstrate
confidentiality in all aspects to include both patient and
non-patient issues. Reflect HCO values and is sensitive to HCO's
ethical and compliance principals in his/her daily activities.
Promote resolution of concerns and conflict by routing through
correct mechanism or resolving the situation. Prioritize daily
functions/tasks. Engage in active problem-solving. Other duties as
assigned by management. What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate
will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following
credentials/skills: High School or GED ARRT Certified BLS Certified
Picture Archiving & Communication System Musculoskeletal Anatomy
