  • Unit Capacity: 23 Beds
  • Population Served: Cholecystitis, pancreatitis, vessel disease, kidney failure disease, kidney transplant patients, abdominal surgery, revascularizations,vascular bypass, carotid endarterectomy, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery.
  • Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
  • Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
    • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.

      • Required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter. Minimum 80% score. Only 2 attempts allowed.
