Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Service Line Specialty
Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze medical record documentation to assign diagnoses
and procedure codes
Achieve departmental benchmarks for productivity and quality
Adhere to ethical coding standards and official coding
guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
5 years of coding experience, particularly in cardiovascular and
neurology specialties
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
A.S. or B.S. in Health Information Technology or Management is
preferred
Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC are required
Familiarity with Epic and 3M Solventum 360 Encompass CAC is
preferred
