TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203 Pay Information $1,843 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13-week contract Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: ACLS certification Description: This position is for a telemetry unit. The unit has 29 beds and the night shift is staffed with 1 charge nurse (out of staffing), 5 nurses on telemetry, and 3 nurses on the step-down side. Patient ratios are 4:1 on telemetry and 3:1 on the step-down. The unit uses Meditech for its Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Ideal candidates should be team-oriented and have a strong focus on customer service. Candidates with EKG training and cardiac experience are preferred. Typical procedures on the unit include recovering patients from the cath lab such as those with stents, pacemakers, mitral clips, micra pacers, and valve replacements. Experience in managing cardiac drips and handling heart failure patients is essential. Floating may occur to other cardiac units and medical-surgical areas. The dress code requires scrub colors in galaxy blue, ceil blue, black, or red.
