Growing together.We seek aFloat Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Schedule:This is a float role, will be required to provide coverage 1 2 days per week at Cookeville and Oak Ridge locations, in addition to home site (Crossville location). You will be working Monday Friday, 8am 5pm (lunch 12pm 1pm)Location: 4325 US HWY 127 N STE 102 CROSSVILLE, TN 38571 (home site)Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Will be required to float to other sites 1 2 days per week (Cookeville and Oak Ridge locations) to provide coverage, in addition to the home site; Cookeville and Oak Ridge sites are about 30 60 minutes from home siteYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Tennessee
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Ability to provide coverage 1 2 days per week at Cookeville and Oak Ridge sites (30 60 minutes away from home site)
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US drivers licensePreferred Qualifications:
    • National Pharmacy Technician CertificationThe salary range for this role is $16.00to $28.85per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
