TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203 Pay Information $1,843 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night (19:00-07:00) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess ACLS certification. Description: This position is located in a cardiac unit with a focus on teamwork and prioritizing customer service. The unit has 29 beds, staffed with care providers for both telemetry and stepdown side. Night shifts include 1 Charge Nurse (non-staffing) with 5 on telemetry and 3 on stepdown side. Patient ratios are 4:1 in telemetry and 3:1 in stepdown. Experience with EKG, cardiac drips, and cardiac procedures such as stents, pacemakers, and valve replacements is preferred. The role involves managing heart failure patients and those recovering from cath lab procedures. Nurses may float to other cardiac and medical-surgical units as needed. The dress code requires scrub colors in Galaxy blue, Ceil Blue, Black, or Red. Weekends are scheduled every other weekend, with no on-call shifts.
