TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203 Pay Information $1,843 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ACLS Description: Unit Information is for a cardiac-focused unit with 29 beds. The daytime staffing includes one charge nurse, five telemetry nurses, and three step-down side nurses. The nighttime staffing mirrors the day shift with one charge nurse, five telemetry nurses, and three step-down side nurses. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 on telemetry and 3:1 on step-down. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. Key skills include ACLS certification, with EKG training and cardiac experience being advantageous. Typical procedures performed include recovering cath lab patients with stents, pacemakers, mitraclips, micrapacers, and valve replacements. Managing cardiac drips and heart failure patients is also a key responsibility. The best personality fit is someone who is team-oriented and customer service focused. Floating to other cardiac units and medical-surgical areas may be required. The dress code includes scrub colors of galaxy blue, ceil blue, black, and red.
