About The Position
A facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage.Eastern Tennessee is a treasure trove of fun activities. You can immerse yourself in the vibrant music scene of Knoxville or Nashville, home to iconic venues like the Grand Ole Opry. Nature enthusiasts can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offering hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives.A 700-bed Level 1 trauma hospital seeks an experienced APP to fill a vacancy. The role includes 14 day shifts per month (7:00 AM4:30 PM) with 1-2 weekly calls, including weekends. Duties involve EVH, consults, admissions, discharges, chest tube care, and occasional clinic work. The team handles two heart procedures daily with support from four surgeons, three APPs, and two night NPs.
