Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position
Qualifications:The Sales Director is responsible for hiring,
training, developing and leading a regional sales team (approx. 7-8
reps) in order to meet or exceed sales goals for AEL. - This leader
will be responsible for the daily oversight of the region's
business, customer relationships, both internal and external, and
will be tasked with maximizing profitability. -In this role, you
will:
- Model servant leadership where people, culture and performance
are keys to success.
- Select, train and manage activities of territory sales
representatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key
customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless
implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and
market conditions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior
management.
- Complete performance evaluations and as needed, conduct
disciplinary action up to and termination. - - - - -
- Work with Director, Sales Training for new hires and to keep
selling skills sharp.
- Ensure the representatives are meeting or exceeding sales goals
set by management.
- Oversee efforts of representatives and as needed sell business
that is profitable for AEL.
- Follow all compliance standards and complete all compliance
training.
- Ensure representatives maintain compliance with company and
department policies and procedures and provide training as needed.

- Provide a motivating work environment and accurate feedback to
staff on performance.All you need is:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent
experience in laboratory sciences
- 5 years relevant experience in a sales position or marketing,
preferably in a medical reference laboratory environment.
- At least 2 years of team coaching, leadership experience.
- Experience with building and developing teams
- Experience with CRM Operations (HC1)
- Outstanding coaching skills
- Ability to measure performance
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
- Excellent presentation skills, strong written and verbal
communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level
executives and key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work
independently.
- Highly motivated, results-driven team player.Bonus points if
