The ideal candidate is highly organized and motivated to attain expert-level knowledge of the products. You will oversee the daily operations of a software development department including the internal and Offshore development teams.Responsibilities include - but are not limited to:Team ManagementLead and mentor a high-performing team of 6 internal and 16 offshore professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and drive continuous improvement. Work expertly as a "Player / Coach" - contributing at a high-performance level as an individual technical contributor on software development initiatives. Be able to multitask on multiple assignments: break/fix tickets, ad-hoc requests, longer duration system development projects. Guide work of - and mentor - lesser experienced staff.Sprint PlanningFacilitate sprint planning sessions, ensuring alignment with Top 10 priorities and Product Roadmap initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sprint objectives, scope, and deliverables.MonitoringMonitor project progress and team performance to identify potential bottlenecks and issues. Implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.ReportingDevelop and maintain comprehensive project status reports. Provide regular updates to stakeholders. Write technical documentation.Proper and Timely Project ExecutionOversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Mitigate risks and proactively address any project-related challenges. Calculate timeframes for work, communicate those timeframes, and manage time accordingly to meet those deadlines. Participate in Client and Prospect meetings to advise on Patterned Learning AI solution capabilities. Work in partnership with IT managers and executive stakeholders to fuse future functionality into appropriate technology. Work with the support desk team to quickly identify and remediate reported issues.Education, Skill, and Experience:Bachelor's degree required, Professional certifications are a plus. Deep experience with Microsoft technology stack. Expertise with Azure DevOps. Experience developing and supporting SaaS solutions is required. 8+ years of increasing expertise in all areas of IT: Security, Development, Database, Infrastructure, Networks. 5+ years of progressive experience as a .Net software developer, analyst, architect, and project leader. Full stack technology expertise.Prioritization - Proficient in prioritizing tasks and projects based on their importance and deadlines, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to both internal team members and external clients. Organization and Time Management - Exceptional organizational skills to maintain order in tasks and projects, coupled with effective time management to meet deadlines and deliver results. Client Management - Proven ability to manage relationships with both internal and external clients, providing excellent service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met.Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organization and process acumen. Strong Experience in Agile Development methodologies (practitioner - not theoretical). Able to collaborate in an informal environment that values high personal initiative and accountability for results. Results oriented. Expertise with relational database technologies including MS SQL. Strong exposure to Agile development methods and tools. Create and help enforce security policy and protocol. Design pragmatic and innovative solutions without compromise to company values, policy, business objectives, or deadline commitments. Take independent action within established options and develop new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary. Analyze assignments based on a wide knowledge of many factors where advanced technical concepts are required. Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time. Perform duties and make decisions with patience and tact under frequent time pressures. Multi-task - moving along resolution of multiple assignments concurrently and according to agreed-to deadlines. Hold 3rd party vendors accountable for assigned work and commitments.
